Stakes are introduced to a depth of 35 - 50 cm, focusing on the desired height of the canvas.

In the process of weaving, you should not restrain the bending of the vine. It should be loosely intertwined with other elements, but not springy. To avoid this side effect, experts recommend maintaining a distance between the supports of 30 - 50 cm, deviations are not allowed. The step width depends on the thickness of the branches used.

How to weave willow fence fabric? The first rod is nailed by the tip to the base and brought out through the second stake. Then the vine goes around the 3rd stake in front and goes behind the 4th stick. The action is repeated until the branch ends. To make the weaving look neat, you need to connect the twigs imperceptibly.

The joints are masked in two ways:

  1. In the area of ​​the cuts, the vine is combined with wire or tape.

In order for the fence made of willow branches to stand as long as possible, the wood is treated with a special antiseptic. The substance will protect the structure from rotting and damage by insects. Willow is naturally protected by tannins that save it from pests. However, in conditions of high humidity, the tyn can become moldy, so it should be covered with an antiseptic varnish.

If you want to change the natural color of the vine, it is painted with colored varnishes, wood stain or acrylic facade paint. The wattle is bleached with hydrogen peroxide.
